Conflict Resolution: Addressing guest complaints or issues professionally and efficiently. Financial Tasks: Processing payments, managing cash, and preparing bills. Required Skills and Qualifications -------------------------------- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may prefer hospitality-related certifications). Experience: Previous experience in customer service or a hospitality/reception role is often preferred. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management systems (PMS) for hotel roles. Attributes: Professional appearance, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask under pressure. Physical/Work Environment Environment: Typically a hotel lobby or corporate reception area. Nature of Work: Requires standing for long periods and a high level of interaction with guests.
