Designation is - Room Service Order Taker (RSOT) Key Responsibilities and Duties:-- Order Taking & Communication: Promptly answers telephone calls (usually within three rings), greets guests warmly, and records orders accurately, including special requests. Suggestive Selling: Uses in-depth menu knowledge to suggest items, add-ons, or wine pairings to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Order Coordination: Inputs orders directly into the POS system to notify the kitchen, and communicates special dietary requirements or guest preferences clearly to kitchen staff. Quality Assurance: Confirms the order back to the guest to ensure accuracy, and provides an estimated delivery time. Coordination and Service: Assigns orders to room service waiters, tracks delivery times to ensure prompt service, and schedules room clearance. Guest Service & Problem Resolution: Addresses inquiries, handles complaints, and follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction.
